Counted Doors is paid for by the person who built it. Here is exactly what that means.
I would love to give all of this away, and nearly all of it is given away. The library, the forms, and a child's whole record cost me nothing extra when one more family uses them, so they are free and they will stay free.
Two things do cost real money every month: storing your files privately, and the AI tools, which pay for every answer they write. Those are the only two things with a limit on the free plan, and the limits are set so that most families never notice them. If you do reach one, there is a Supporter plan that lifts both, and that money goes toward keeping the rest free for the next family.
Nothing here is funded by ads or by selling data, and it never will be.

Questions people ask
Will the library ever go behind a paywall?
No. It costs nothing extra for one more family to read a guide or download a form, so there is no reason to charge for it.
What happens if I reach a limit?
Nothing you already have is touched. Your records, files, and forms stay readable, printable, and shareable. The AI tools start counting again on the first of the next month, and uploads resume as soon as you clear space or become a supporter.
What if I need to cancel?
Any time, from Account Settings. You keep supporter limits until the period you paid for ends, and everything you built stays yours on the free plan.
What if this isn't what I need?
If the supporter plan is not helping within the first 7 days, say so and you get a full refund.
How do you take payment?
Major credit cards through Stripe. Counted Doors is operated by AdaptoIT LLC, and the charge appears as AdaptoIT on your statement.
