This is a demo built from fictional data. The children, caregiver, contacts, case numbers, dates, and files on these pages were invented to show how a Counted Doors record works. None of it describes a real child in care, a real family, a real case, or a real agency.

What a record looks like

This is My Kids the way a caregiver sees it, filled with a made-up family. Open a child to read the timeline, the files, the contacts, and the history of every change. Nothing here can be edited, and nothing you do is recorded.

Archived

A placement that ended. The record stays, sealed, in case it is needed later.

Things to try

  • Open a child and read the timeline. One incident entry has a correction: the original is kept and marked superseded, and the corrected version sits beside it.
  • Tick "Show superseded versions" to see both, and look for the entry that was voided. It is marked withdrawn, not deleted.
  • Open any entry and read the record seal: the server time it was saved, its fingerprint, and how it chains to the entry before it.
  • Open Report on a child and print it or save it as a PDF. Photos print inline and every file is listed with its fingerprint.
  • The History tab shows every creation, correction, upload, and view, which is what a social worker or attorney would see on a shared record.
